Can I purchase whisky at the show?


Yes. All our shows allow you to purchase whiskies you have tried from each of the exhibitiors. Our Sydney and Melbourne shows have a dedicated bottleshop on site. Our other cities we are currently trialing a hybrid store model where you can order, however the whisky bottle will be shipped directly to your home or shipping address of choice. You can also skip the queue by downloading the Whisky Show app (iOS & Andriod compatible) and use the add-to-cart function to checkout.




How do I see which whiskies will be available at the show?


A few days ahead of each show, we publish the full list of whiskies which will be available to try in our dedicated Whisky Show app. Click here to download our Whisky Show app. The app allows you to:

  1. View which whiskies & brands available to try
  2. Create a "to try" list to help you plan which whiskies you wish to sample
  3. Rate your favourite whiskies – each rating you submit automatically gives you 1 entry to win a bottle of The Whisky Show exclusive bottling
  4. Buy - hit the "add-to-cart" and follow steps to purchase your whisky bottles




What is included in my show ticket?


Each valid ticket gives you access to that upcoming Whisky Show, including:

  1. Access to try any of the whiskies available on taste within your set show session time
  2. A Whisky Show tasting glass (yours to keep after)
  3. Small selection of nibbles
  4. 1x water bottle




Are there any age restrictions?


Yes. This is an Adults only 18+ event. Security and Staff at event entry can ask for a valid ID like drivers license or passport in order to gain entry to any of our events. We practice strict Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) as per each State's liquid regulations.




Will there be food at the Show?


A small selection of snacks and nibbles are provided on entry. We highly recommend you eat prior to attending any of our events. We also provide free drinking water throughout the event.




Is there drinking water available during the Show?


Yes, plenty of FREE drinking water is always available during the show. We highly recommend you drink lots of water pre-, during and after your visit.




Can I refund my ticket?


No refunds. Tickets are transferable to another individual, as long as they are over 18 years of age. Please contact us to arrange the transfer of your ticket.




Can a non-drinking partner / designated driver come with me?


Due to limited person capacity (especially with frequent venue restriction changes), we do not currently offer non-drinking tickets.




Is the venue wheelchair accessbile?


Yes, we ensure all our venues have full accessability for anyone with a disability.




How many whisky brands will there be at the show available to try?


All our shows have at a mimimum 15 different brands, each presenting four different whiskies. We always ensure we maximise the number of brands available to try at each show. These are often limited due to different venue capacities across each city. Our Sydney and Melbourne shows have previously had over 20 brands and over 100 different whiskies available to try.




Where is the Show located?


We host The Whisky Show in multiple cities across Australia. Please check the specifc show page for venue location and instructions on how best to get there. As there is a large amount of alcohol being samples at our shows, we highly recommend you take public transport or arrange alternative transport to and from the event. Your safety is of our highest concern throughout. Please do not drink and drive.




Do I have to be vaccinated to attend the Show?


Yes, as per current Australian State and Federal government rules, proof of double-vaccination required to enter venue. Depending on each State's requirements, you might also be required to check-in into the venue.




Are special dietary requirements catered for in the snack packs?


Yes, please let us know of any specific dietary restrictions, so that we can plan accordingly.
